Sustainability
When selecting stainless steel for a building, product or artwork, aesthetics and function are no longer the only considerations. The origin of the material and how it is processed are also becoming increasingly important.
How much energy does production require? What impact do the processes have on the environment? And how does a company take responsibility for its actions?
These are questions our customers ask us—and that we ask ourselves. That is why we continually reassess our materials and processes, looking for ways to use energy and resources more responsibly.

For us, environmentally responsible work with stainless steel and other materials starts with our machinery and production equipment
Surface finishing requires electricity, water and materials. That is why we regularly review our production processes and look for ways to use resources more responsibly.
We carry out technical work in-house whenever we can do so reliably. For maintenance, inspections and specialist repairs, we work with qualified contractors.
We generate some of our electricity with the photovoltaic system installed on the roofs of our production halls. Charging stations are also available on site for our electrified fleet and for our employees’ electric cars and e-bikes.

Durability starts with the right finish
Products with a long service life need to be replaced less frequently. Our contribution therefore begins with selecting a finish that is suited to the material, the application and the specific requirements.
At the same time, we regularly review our processing methods and look for ways to use energy, water and materials more responsibly.
Quality Management
Our quality management system is certified to DIN EN ISO 9001. This standard provides the basis for documented procedures, reliable quality controls and the continuous improvement of our processes.

Responsible use of materials
Why an additional coating may not be necessary
Depending on the grade and application, stainless steel already offers high corrosion resistance. Many of our finishes therefore require no additional coating or priming. This reduces further processing steps and the associated use of materials.
The mirrorINOX PVD/TiN + nanoINOX® processes
Our PVD/TiN and nanoINOX® coatings contain no toxic or environmentally harmful substances. Both processes make it possible to enhance the appearance and functionality of metal surfaces. The appropriate solution depends on the material, application and desired properties.
Less cleaning effort
In addition to a wide range of visual and design options, the sol-gel coatings provide additional properties such as Easy-To-Clean (ETC) and AntiFingerPrint (AFP), creating a lotus-like effect.
These properties protect the surfaces against soiling such as fingerprints, graffiti and other contaminants. This reduces cleaning and maintenance costs as well as the consumption of water and cleaning agents, benefiting both budgets and the environment.
